We also attended our first event in January, the Hersport Awards. These awards were held in UCD and aired on TG4. It was an amazing award ceremony where we acknowledged and empowered the best of the IRISH Females Athletes such as Aine O’Gorman, Amy Broadhurst and many more!
The first award of the night was the WHOOP Young Athlete of the Year that went to Rhasidat Adeleke! Up next was the Her Sport Athlete of the Year award which went to the amazing Amy Broadhurst! The Dundalk fighter began boxing at the age of 5, coached by her dad and sparring with her brothers.
Áine O'Gorman collected the The Three Team of the Year on behalf of the Irish Soccer Team! Áine was joined on stage by Lisa Fallon who spoke about the growth of Irish women's soccer and the impact they will have on the future.
Sports Sleek Stick made its first appearance in a programme along side Bare by Vogue!
